For our site in Domdidier with more than 450 employees, we are looking for a

100% Industrial Buyer (m/f)

Do you want to put your purchasing expertise at the service of an industrial site and play a central role between internal customers and suppliers?Join our team in Domdidier and contribute to the performance of WAGO Switzerland by managing the Procure-to-Pay process while acting as a true Purchasing Business Partner.

• Manage and optimise the Procure-to-Pay process, from the expression of need to invoicing
• Act as Purchasing Business Partner for the WAGO Switzerland site and support internal customers in defining and fulfilling their needs
• Identify, evaluate, select and develop a panel of suppliers meeting the company’s technical, qualitative and economic requirements
• Conduct tenders and commercial negotiations, then contribute to contracting and monitoring supplier commitments
• Monitor suppliers, complaints as well as delivery or invoicing discrepancies, and coordinate necessary actions
• Analyse expenses, price histories and supplier indicators to identify optimisation and cost reduction levers
• Ensure operational activities and support for the Purchasing department, while contributing to continuous process improvement and data reliability in purchasing systems
• Supervise and monitor the commercial apprentice in the department by contributing to their training and development

• A completed technical CFC with training in purchasing, supply or equivalent training
• At least five years of professional experience in a Purchasing department within the Swiss industry
• Good command of the Procure-to-Pay cycle, tenders, commercial negotiation and contracting
• Ability to analyse costs and price histories, as well as knowledge of customs regulations and Incoterms
• Very good command of French and German, as well as good knowledge of English
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft 365
• A rigorous, reliable, solution-oriented personality, with initiative and diplomacy
