Audit Engagement Manager with Focus on the Public Sector (m/f/d) 80-100 %

What you will achieve

• Responsibility from the start: Together with our motivated team, you ensure the professional audit and comprehensive advice of our clients - from public sector institutions to non-profit organisations.
• Specialised work: You competently advise our clients in accounting and financial reporting (HRM), support the preparation of financial statements and are the contact person for the assessment of business processes as well as the (further) development of internal control systems.
• Passing on knowledge: In your specialist leadership role, you train junior auditors purposefully on the job and support their development.
• Innovation and optimisation: You actively shape and further develop internal tools and processes in auditing.
• Entrepreneurial thinking: You enjoy working on acquiring new clients in the dynamic metropolitan area of Zurich.
• Using and expanding networks: You maintain and expand our network with decision-makers in the public sector and related organisations.

What makes you successful

• Professional competence: You are a certified auditor as well as an authorised audit expert and have experience in the public sector and ideally also with non-profit organisations.
• Practical experience: Ideally, you already have know-how in accounting or auditing in municipalities, cantons or other public institutions.
• Humanity: As an authentic, positive-thinking personality, you are a team player through and through and quickly connect with people; initial leadership experience is an advantage.
• Digital mindset: You feel comfortable in a dynamic, digital working environment.
• Communication skills: You convince with clear, understandable and concise expression in German.
