Polymechanic - Specialisation Assembly

For our client, a successful and innovative company in mechanical and plant engineering, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed Polymechanic / Machine Assembler (m/f) for the assembly of high-quality machines and systems.

Tasks:

• Assembly of machines and systems according to technical drawings, parts lists and assembly plans
• Mechanical assembly of machine elements such as bearings, shafts, gears, couplings and guide systems
• Aligning, adjusting and fine-tuning machine components according to specified tolerances
• Installation of hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication systems
• Carrying out functional checks as well as mechanical acceptance of the completed machines
• Independent pre-assembly of mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
• Assembly of gear units, drive systems and other functional groups
• Inspection and checking of individual parts before and after assembly
• Labelling and proper provision of pre-assembled assemblies
• Carrying out quality and functional tests during and after assembly
• Identifying and reporting deviations, defective parts or material defects
• Ensuring compliance with internal quality standards as well as applicable safety regulations

Your profile:

• Completed training as Polymechanic EFZ, Production Mechanic EFZ, Agricultural Machinery Mechanic EFZ, Plant and Apparatus Builder EFZ or comparable technical training
• Experience in mechanical, plant or special machine construction is an advantage
• Confident handling of technical drawings and assembly documents
• Good knowledge of mechanical assembly and ideally in hydraulics and pneumatics
• Independent, precise and solution-oriented working style
• High quality awareness and sense of responsibility
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form
