Senior IT System Engineer / Cloud & Infrastructure (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a globally active company in packaging technology based in Aargau and offers customised complete solutions for end packaging and transport security.
Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the stable and secure operation of IT systems and ensure that all platforms run reliably and performantly. You plan, implement, and maintain system landscapes, analyse disruptions, and resolve incidents in a structured and efficient manner. You continuously optimise existing infrastructures, automate recurring tasks, and contribute to the standardisation of processes. You work closely with other IT departments to smoothly integrate new solutions into the existing environment and professionally implement technical requirements. With your solid expertise, you contribute your own ideas and actively shape the further development of the IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Technical co-responsibility for a modern hybrid system landscape and further development of business-critical cloud, workplace, and infrastructure services
Building efficient and secure operating models for Microsoft platforms, servers, networks, and end devices, taking availability and compliance into account
Driving technical improvements through automation, new technologies, and active participation in cross-departmental transformation projects
Sustainable resolution of complex incidents as well as collaborative support of internal teams with technical requirements and new digital solutions
Qualifications:
Solid IT background with advanced training and several years of practical experience in a broadly based system engineering function
Very good Microsoft infrastructure knowledge with a focus on M365 and Windows Server; additional expertise in Azure, networking, virtualisation, or IT security is welcome
Interest in future-oriented topics such as cloud engineering, endpoint management, security, BCM, and automated operational processes
Proactive and responsible working style combined with team spirit, empathy, high willingness to learn, and confident communication in German and English
