About the job
Our client is an internationally active technology company developing sophisticated machines and process plants for industrial applications. To strengthen the team in the field of process engineering, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed individual with an interest in complex technical systems and their process engineering design.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Development of technical plant concepts in the field of thermal process plants
- Support of sales in the technical elaboration of customer projects
- Creation and processing of process and flow diagrams
- Preparation of technical documentation and plant descriptions
- Creation of piping and instrumentation flow diagrams (P&IDs)
- Process engineering design and specification of key plant components
- Preparation of functional and process descriptions
- Technical support of projects during the implementation phase
- Support during commissioning and optimisation of plants
- Ensuring reliable and correct plant operation
- Training of customers and plant operators
- Support of customer service in analysing and resolving technical problems in existing plants
- Interest in complex technical processes and industrial plant construction
- Knowledge in engineering and project management is an advantage
- Experience with process engineering plants is an advantage
- Experience in the food or process industry is a plus but not a requirement
- Motivated career starters with the appropriate technical background are also welcome
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Open and communicative personality
- Willingness to travel worldwide about 20% of the time
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written

Tasks
In this varied position, you will accompany projects from the concept phase to commissioning, working closely with various internal and external contacts.Your responsibilities include, among others:

Profile
- Completed studies at Bachelor or Master level in process engineering, mechanical engineering, food technology or a comparable technical discipline- Interest in complex technical processes and industrial plant construction
- Knowledge in engineering and project management is an advantage
- Experience with process engineering plants is an advantage
- Experience in the food or process industry is a plus but not a requirement
- Motivated career starters with the appropriate technical background are also welcome
