Job Description
Directly attached to the HR Unit of the General Secretariat of the Department of Institutions, Culture, Infrastructure and Human Resources (SG-DICIRH), the future HR assistant will play a key role in managing the personnel administration of the SG-DICIRH, its affiliated entities, as well as the Cantonal Daycare Service for Children (SCAJE).
Responsibilities
- Manage the personnel administration of the General Secretariat of the DICIRH (SG-DICIRH) and its affiliated entities as well as the Cantonal Daycare Service for Children (SCAJE) and handle the routine secretarial tasks of the HR unit.
- Independently manage processes related to time management, absences and training, and contribute to advising managers and employees.
- Ensure recruitment processes for employees of the SG-DICIRH and affiliated entities as well as the SCAJE with the hierarchical lines. Provide administrative support in recruitment processes and organise the induction of new employees.
- Undertake specific activities and support the departmental HR manager in implementing HR processes, promoting and improving HR tools and practices within the SG-DICIRH and the department.
- Assume the role of Health and Safety at Work (HSW) Correspondent for the SG-DICIRH.
Qualifications
- Commercial employee CFC completed by a personnel management assistant certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- 3 years of professional experience in an HR assistant position, ideally within the Vaud cantonal administration.
- Innate sense of confidentiality, discretion, accuracy and rigour.
- Fluent oral and written command of French.
- Great ease in human contact, with good listening skills.
