For the outpatient and inpatient patients of the Clinic for Hand and Plastic Surgery, we are looking for a Physician Associate from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.
The position is part of a Physician Associate team that has been successfully established for many years, is firmly integrated into clinical processes and works closely with the medical service. Due to the continuous growth and development of our clinic, we are expanding this well-coordinated team and are looking for a committed individual to strengthen it.
Who we are
Your tasks
- As a member of our experienced Physician Associate team, you will jointly take on the medical care of our patients in Hand and Plastic Surgery together with the medical staff
- In addition, you will care for patients of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in collaboration with the attending physicians
- You are part of the medical team and work closely with nursing staff as well as diagnostic and therapeutic services
- Supported by clearly defined treatment pathways and medical supervision, you take on medical care in stable patient situations and assist in complex and unpredictable treatment courses
- On behalf of and in consultation with the treating physicians, you will take on the following tasks: admission and discharge of patients, ordering diagnostic and therapeutic measures, conducting ward rounds, documentation and coordination tasks, running your own consultations, care of tumour patients
Your profile
- You have training as a qualified nurse HF/FH and at least two years of professional experience in an acute somatic hospital
- Ideally, you have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, further training in intensive care, or hold a corresponding CAS
- You possess extensive medical expertise and are motivated to continuously expand it and apply it responsibly in practice
- You are characterised by high professional, social and methodological competence
- You appreciate working in a well-coordinated, collegial team and actively contribute to its further development
