• Responsibility for the software architecture of complex sensor systems
• Technical leadership and coaching of the development team
• Definition of architecture standards, interfaces, and development guidelines
• Conducting architecture, design, and code reviews
• Support in technological decisions as well as in identifying and reducing technical risks
• Close collaboration with Product Owner, System Engineering, and Project Management
• Evaluation of new technologies and further development of our software platform

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a software architect, technical lead, or senior software engineer
• Proven experience in developing complex software systems as well as in architecture modelling and technical documentation
• Experience with embedded Linux, embedded systems, industrial IoT, or edge computing systems
• Sound knowledge of modern software architectures and development processes
• Very good knowledge of C++, Python, or Java
• Fluent German and English skills

• High technical credibility and pronounced role model function
• Ability to make, represent, and ensure consistent implementation of technical directional decisions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical contexts appropriately to the audience
