Responsibilities:
Design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the network infrastructure.
Installation and configuration of network hardware such as switches, routers and firewalls.
Operation and maintenance of network resources to maximise efficiency.
Analysis and resolution of faults, errors and performance issues.
Qualifications:
Advanced vocational training in computer science (FH, HF) or equivalent professional experience.
In-depth knowledge of the Internet, TCP/IP, routing & switching as well as security technologies such as IPv6, WLAN and BGP.
Comprehensive knowledge of networks and firewalls.
Experience in the use of scripting and automation technologies.
Fluent German skills, additional official languages are an advantage.
