About the job
Architect of Precision: Development Engineer for High-Dynamic Multi-Axis Systems (m/f/d)
About our client
Our client is a globally operating pioneer in linear technology with a success story spanning over 100 years. As a global market leader, the company develops key components without which the modern world would come to a standstill: from semiconductor manufacturing to medical technology to aerospace. While others calculate in millimetres, our client defines precision at the nanometre level.
Your mission
In this key position, you are the technological backbone for customised high-end solutions. You transform complex customer requirements into highly dynamic multi-axis systems. Your impact is directly measurable: you enable the production of the next generation of smartphones, computers, and life-saving medical devices.
Your responsibilities
System architecture: You develop technical specifications and concepts that combine technical brilliance with economic efficiency.
Engineering excellence: You conduct complex analyses, calculations, and system designs (including FEM simulations).
Interdisciplinary coordination: You act as a hub between drive and controller specialists to ensure the perfect interplay of the overall system.
Design leadership: You model systems and professionally guide assigned designers through the development process to technical approval.
Stakeholder management: You document progress and confidently present your results to internal decision-makers and international OEM customers.
Your profile
Foundation: Degree in mechanical engineering (FH/ETH) or a comparable qualification.
Expertise: Several years of experience (at least 4 years) in the design and calculation of mechatronic systems, ideally in international mechanical engineering.
Tool stack: In-depth knowledge of FEM tools (vibration, strength, and thermal analyses) as well as routine use of CAD (preferably Inventor).
Methodology: Experience with modern ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA) and a structured working style.
Personality: You are assertive, fluent in German and confident in English, and appreciate team synergy.
