We are looking for a Credit Advisor (m/f/d) for the international lending business with a focus on Lombard loans and residential real estate financing. In this position, you will manage a loan portfolio at our locations in Bendern/FL or Zurich/CH. You will ensure the competent and efficient processing of international loan requests, ongoing loan issuance, and monitoring of existing credit customer relationships.
Your main tasks include:
Advising the front office (especially relationship managers in Switzerland, the Middle East, and Asia) regarding structured credit solutions in private banking for international clients
Analyzing and evaluating complex loan requests from private banking clients with a focus on Lombard loans (including risks from derivative positions), financing of life insurance policies, and mortgages on European residential properties
Preparing comprehensive loan applications for the responsible committees, including assessment of the proposed loan structure, detailed risk analysis, and evaluation of collateral
Processing approved transactions, including complete documentation, provision of collateral (e.g., mortgage contracts), and data entry
Ongoing monitoring of own loan positions, handling reports of exceedances and other contract breaches to detect negative developments early and define risk mitigation measures
Participation in credit projects and process optimizations
Commercial qualification in banking and/or university/fachhochschule degree in business administration, finance, or equivalent
Several years of professional experience in the credit sector, mainly in Lombard loans, international mortgages, and complex structured financing
Fluent in English and German, additional languages are an advantage
Affinity for numbers combined with excellent MS Office skills, Avaloq knowledge is an advantage
Proactive and motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills, hands-on mentality
Structured, careful, and detail-oriented working style with the ability to meet demanding deadlines while ensuring a high level of quality
