Role:
In this role, you actively shape the further development and support of a modern ICT infrastructure for multiple locations and external clients. You take responsibility in projects, professionally implement modern ICT solutions, and optimise existing architectures. As a Microsoft enthusiast, you work on the provision and scaling of new services both in the cloud and on-premise, thus making a decisive contribution to the technological orientation of the environment. You are responsible for the continuous improvement of the IT landscape and ensure stable, secure, and high-performance systems. Depending on your interest and experience, you also take on the management of diverse IT projects, significantly influencing the further development of the infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- You take system responsibility and provide 3rd level support for an extensive user and device environment.
- In this role, you maintain, service, and further develop network components, telephony systems, and server landscapes at all locations.
- You maintain the ticketing system as well as the CMDB and ensure the quality of the recorded data.
- As an IT system technician, you actively participate in IT projects and independently take on sub-areas or entire projects.
- You evaluate new technologies, plan their architecture, and accompany their introduction into the existing IT landscape.
- In this role, you ensure the smooth operation and security of the entire IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ system technology with several years of professional experience in a comparable role
- Very good practical experience in operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server (from version 2019) as well as common network technologies
- Confident expression in German and English, both spoken and written
- High customer and service orientation as well as enjoyment of direct contact with users
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and to Germany as well as a category B driving licence
- Advantageous: experience with Active Directory, Exchange Online, Hyper-V, Veeam, ESET, Microsoft365, Endpoint Central, PaperCut, Watchguard, Cambium Networks or Innovaphone
