Tasks
As a specialist in school-based special education, you work resource-oriented, appreciatively, and empathetically with adolescent and adult learners. You are part of the BFF advisory team and support the teachers and school management with your expertise in their tasks.
- Leading the school-based special education unit in the Vocational Education Department
- Collaboration with other advisory services at BFF
- Support and counselling of learners, creation of support plans and
aids
- Planning and conducting further training for teachers
- Networking with external specialist centres
- Flexible, fluctuating weekly working hours:
During school weeks, availability for on-site consultations from
Monday to Friday must be ensured. Constant presence on site is
not mandatory. Daily working hours on site and/or in the home office during school weeks amount to 3-6 hours.
On Thursdays from 13:00–17:00, presence on site is defined for
collaboration with other advisory centres. During school holidays, the remaining working hours are fulfilled or overtime from school weeks is compensated.
- Annual working time model: 100% = 1930 hours, i.e. 50% spread over 39 weeks, corresponds to an annual employment of 43%.
Requirements
You demonstrate the appropriate professional competence as a school-based special educator.
You have experience in supporting learners with ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia.
You possess specific further training related to the mentioned diagnoses.
You are communicative, a team player, and flexible with your time.
