The Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry (KFP) consists of the expert assessment office, the Centre for Forensic Psychiatry inpatient (ZFPS) and the Centre for Forensic Psychiatry outpatient (ZFPA). The expert assessment office produces numerous reports annually for official clients. The ZFPS includes six wards with a total of 74 beds, where mentally ill offenders are treated within the framework of court-ordered therapeutic measures (Art. 59 StGB) and crisis interventions are carried out for patients from correctional and remand prisons. The ZFPA runs a forensic outpatient clinic and offers a prison psychiatric consultation and liaison service.

Profile

• You have completed training as a certified nurse HF/FH and preferably have professional experience in psychiatry
• For foreign diplomas, SRK recognition is mandatory
• Your attitude towards offenders is appreciative and risk-aware
• You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
• You possess exceptionally high social skills
• You have strong communication skills
• You are characterised by very high self-reflection and ability to accept criticism

Tasks

• You work on a highly secure ward and switch between small group settings and individual settings
• You treat and care for patients from the penal system for crisis intervention and measures
• You are part of the interdisciplinary treatment team and contribute to treatment planning, daily structuring and shaping the living environment
• You work both rehabilitatively and preventively to avoid future offences
• You maintain contact with relatives and authorities
• You ensure the well-being of our patients in a three-shift system
• You share responsibility for the training of apprentices within the framework of the training mandate
