About the job
The CSP Vaud is a private non-profit social action institution. Its services are professional and offered free of charge to anyone living in the canton of Vaud, without any discrimination. It provides more than fifteen thousand consultations per year, organises drop-in sessions and group information meetings, and collaborates with numerous partners for the guidance and support of people in difficulty. It is called upon to train other professionals in the social network, both public and private. With the participation of around one hundred volunteers, CSP Vaud also manages a Service consisting of six Galetas.
In a context of transition and multiplication of data management tools, and in order to strengthen its governance and security, CSP Vaud is looking for a
Data Analyst at 80%
Within a small IT team, reporting to the IT Manager, for its Support Service
The support activities bring together cross-functional roles equipped with the necessary skills and resources in institutional organisation, policy and social action, finance, IT, secretariat, housekeeping, communication, fundraising and human resources.
Main missions
- Participate in structuring, automating, analysing and enhancing the data from the user database for statistical, management, reporting and activity report purposes.
- Analyse business needs and identify the necessary data for all other services using internal or external data management tools.
- Structure, secure and document the various data sources.
- Identify and test solutions.
- Provide the technical support necessary for the continuity of statistical monitoring of social services.
- Participate in data governance, quality and security.
- Contribute to the evaluation of artificial intelligence uses, particularly from the perspective of data protection and security.
- Participate in certain IT projects related to data and occasionally take charge of simple technical tasks related to applications or the IT environment.
Your profile
- Recently graduated, with initial practical experience in carrying out a data management project.
- Higher education in IT at Bachelor level (in Business IT, Data Science, Business Analytics or equivalent field).
- Understanding of business processes and ability to communicate adequately with non-technical interlocutors, adapting to their practices.
- Strong sensitivity to data protection, security and information governance.
- Willingness to acquire new skills and train in the tools and methods necessary for the position.
- Versatile, curious profile with good IT culture.
- Autonomy, analytical mind, organisational skills.
- Social fibre with a desire to work in an associative environment.
Main workplace: Rue Beau-Séjour 28, 1003 Lausanne.
Type of contract: Fixed-term contract of 2 years
Start date: From 1 January 2027, to be agreed.
