Responsibilities:
You coordinate orders and delivery dates considering demand, costs, and material availability.
Managing international suppliers is part of your duties, as well as ongoing evaluation of the collaboration.
Through price comparisons and request for quotations, you create the basis for economical procurement decisions.
You support strategic purchasing in contract negotiations and regular supplier meetings.
In coordination with production planning, you resolve bottlenecks and coordinate necessary measures.
You handle deviations in deliveries or material quality together with the responsible specialist departments.
You contribute to optimising purchasing processes and cross-departmental projects.
You examine technological developments and possible AI applications regarding their benefits for purchasing.
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial or technical basic education with further training in purchasing.
You bring several years of experience in procuring electronic components within a production company.
You are proficient in using ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
You use your MS Office skills routinely for daily purchasing processing.
You work in a structured manner, carefully compare offers, and keep an eye on costs and deadlines.
An interest in modern technologies and digital tools rounds off your profile.
You communicate confidently and appropriately in German.
You also use English confidently in spoken and written form in international supplier contact.
