Role:
In this role, as a Senior Controller in a technically demanding environment at the interface of medicine, pharmacology, research, and health policy, you bear great responsibility. You ensure that your work contributes to the overarching goal of supporting the availability of high-quality, safe, and effective medicines. In a professional and expert environment, you use your experience to ensure financial transparency and sound decision-making bases. Responsibilities:
- You take on a central business partner role and actively develop effective controlling
- In this role, you independently manage defined areas and advise managers on business and financial matters
- As a Senior Controller, you significantly contribute to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and support the accounting department
- You ensure governance, standards, and compliance, monitor guidelines, and drive the further development of processes and tools in finance and controlling
- In this role, you independently lead projects, optimise processes, systems, and interfaces, and build a consistent data basis for analyses and reporting
- As a Senior Controller, you represent the finance function in committees and work closely with internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- You must have training as an expert in accounting and controlling
- You have many years of experience in controlling or finance
- You possess solid knowledge of IFRS, strong analytical thinking, and a high numerical understanding
- You work independently, responsibly, and reliably and handle even complex topics in a structured and precise manner
- You bring very good SAP skills in FI and CO; experience with BI tools is a plus
- You communicate strongly and solution-oriented, act networked and proactively, and have very good German skills as well as good knowledge of a second official language
