Do you want to support people with mental illnesses not only in everyday life but also develop perspectives together with them? At the Lättacker residential home in Münsingen, you accompany clients during a medium-term stay on their individual path to greater independence and quality of life. Within the framework of socio- and milieu-therapeutic support, you help them to further develop their personal, social and professional skills – always based on their resources and needs. You can contribute your expertise, take responsibility and actively shape the daily care routine. You will find a collegial and supportive team where your ideas are welcome. At the same time, you benefit from an attractive work schedule with only two shifts between 7.15 am and 8.30 pm, each lasting 8.5 hours.

Your tasks

• You accompany clients during their medium-term stay and support them in the various phases of their individual development process
• You actively shape the living and leisure areas and support clients in managing practical life tasks
• You promote their skills in social, societal and professional contexts, orienting yourself to their individual resources, needs and goals
• You take responsibility for individual process support and jointly design appropriate next steps with the clients
• You maintain contact with relatives and other important process companions and appropriately involve the social environment in the support
• You work closely with your colleagues and other professionals and contribute to a binding, cooperative collaboration
• You contribute your ideas and actively participate in the further development of our concepts and residential offerings

Your profile

• You have completed training as a Care Specialist EFZ and ideally have experience in supporting people with mental illnesses
• You are familiar with the challenges of chronic mental illnesses and approach different life plans openly, appreciatively and respectfully
• You enjoy supporting people in their personal development and working with them to develop realistic and individual solutions
• You work independently, responsibly and resiliently and can keep an overview even in challenging situations
• With your empathetic, flexible and humorous manner, you contribute to a positive atmosphere in the residential home
• You value interprofessional collaboration and are interested in professional development as well as the diverse educational offerings near the clinic
• You gladly take responsibility in process design and understand your role as professional support on an equal footing
