What awaits you.
The "Planning and Renewal Projects" business sector is responsible for all construction projects of SBB Infrastructure related to the planning, modernisation and renewal of the SBB railway infrastructure. Every day, around 1800 employees work on implementing the requirements within more than 2000 construction projects. The "Engineering" business unit brings together key competencies in project management, contract acquisition and management, and stakeholder management with expertise in the areas of railway track, traction current, cables, railway access and technical installations (project study and execution) as well as geomatics, sustainability & environment and data management (competence centre). The "Geomatics" specialist unit within "Engineering" is responsible for the priority topics of alignment and surveying. It handles, on the one hand, the compliant project study of all track installations and track devices in compliance with financial requirements, and on the other hand, the acquisition, commissioning and support of surveying and monitoring services within projects. In the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM), geomatics plays a central role in capturing data on the existing state. The specialist unit is also responsible for updating and managing the classification system in the fixed installations database (DfA) (line network, track network, fixed points) as well as the quality of the track reference network. Become a member of a motivated and ambitious Engineering management team: contribute directly to the development of Switzerland's transport infrastructure, focusing on the use of innovative technologies and customer benefit.

- You ensure the resources and competencies of the specialist unit and are responsible for the study and realisation of all planning and renewal projects within the "Geomatics" specialist unit safely, within cost, time and quality constraints.
- You actively contribute to an efficient project process through digitisation, harmonisation and standardisation of collaboration with internal and external partners.
- You are responsible for the specialised management of "Geomatics", represent the interests of SBB and the specialist unit, and are the contact person for internal and external stakeholders.
- As a member of the Engineering management team, you advise and support on strategy and design issues. You are also active in the sustainable, cultural and digital development of the entire business unit, both in terms of content and processes.
