Mandatory Nursing Internship

The Department of Internal Medicine (MB IM) with General Internal Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, Haematology, Pneumology & Allergology, Dermatology, Rheumatology and Diabetology/Endocrinology/Nutritional Medicine/Metabolism consists of an inpatient area as well as an outpatient area with polyclinics and a day clinic. Our core competence is the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute and chronic diseases from the entire internal medicine spectrum. In this exciting field of work, we offer a 4-week nursing internship according to the requirements of the University of Bern, Bachelor of Human Medicine programme.

What to expect

You are a student of Human Medicine at the University of Bern and are completing a 4-week nursing internship as a prerequisite for admission to the 2nd year of study. The internship must be completed without interruption at a 100% employment level.
