Do you want to actively shape the future of Green?
As Head of Construction Management, you take overall responsibility for Green's client organisation. Together with your team, you ensure that our demanding data centre projects are successfully implemented in terms of cost, quality, deadlines, safety, and governance. At the same time, you continuously develop our organisation, standards, and processes, creating the conditions for further growth.
Your area of responsibility
- Overall responsibility for the Construction Management area as well as its strategic and operational development
- Leadership, coaching, and development of client representatives and project managers within ongoing construction projects
- Ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, quality, safety, and governance requirements during implementation
- Prioritisation and management of available construction resources across all projects
- Establishment and further development of uniform standards in project control, client representation, reporting, change management, as well as risk and quality management
- Responsibility for escalating significant project deviations, performance disruptions, and conflicts of objectives, as well as preparing well-founded decision-making bases
- Close collaboration with project development, engineering, procurement, finance, legal, operations, and commissioning departments
- Preparation of management reports and decision documents for the CCO, executive management, and CEO
- Further development of the client organisation with regard to growth, scalability, and successful implementation of complex large-scale projects
Your skills
- Completed studies in civil engineering, architecture, project management, or a comparable technical education
- Several years of leadership and project experience in complex construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience in managing large construction projects and dealing with various internal and external stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of cost, schedule, risk, and quality management
- High decision-making competence, strong leadership qualities, as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style
- Very good German and good English skills
