Verbier International School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our Primary team for the Winter Term 2027, from January through to the end of March.
VIS is a growing international day and boarding school located in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Our approach, Education with Altitude, combines ambitious learning with strong pastoral care, outdoor education and the unique opportunities that come from living and learning in Verbier.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support the learning, development and wellbeing of pupils across the Primary School. We are looking for someone who is positive, creative and flexible, with the initiative to contribute fully to classroom life and the wider school community.
The role will include supporting individual pupils and small groups, assisting with classroom activities and learning, supervising pupils during the school day and helping to create a warm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment.
Experience working with primary aged children is required. Knowledge of French or another European language would be an advantage.
