Abacus Technical Consultant (m/f/d)
Our partner is an owner-managed IT service company and has been successful for over 25 years with the entire spectrum of IT solutions. Tailored to public administrations, energy suppliers and SMEs in the service sector, our partner employs around 100 staff and impresses with excellent industry and technology know-how.
Role:
An innovative IT consulting company is looking for a technically inclined person to support customers in the introduction, support and further development of Abacus solutions. You combine your interest in IT infrastructures with the opportunity to develop specifically in the Abacus environment.
You work directly with customers, take on technical support tasks and accompany digitalisation projects. Even if your Abacus experience is still at the beginning, you will have the opportunity to gradually familiarise yourself with the platform and its technical components.
Responsibilities:
Installation, configuration and support of Abacus business software at customers
Management and maintenance of user accounts and permissions within the Abacus environment
Technical advice and support on topics such as network, firewall, reverse proxy and IT infrastructure
Support of digitalisation projects with solutions such as AbaScan Pro and DeepBox
Handling technical enquiries in 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support
Creation and ongoing maintenance of technical documentation
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
Initial practical knowledge in Windows Server, networks or general IT infrastructures
First experience with Abacus ERP is an advantage, alternatively strong motivation to familiarise yourself with the solution
Enjoyment of customer contact and ability to explain technical contexts clearly
Independent, solution-oriented working style with a strong willingness to learn
Confident German language skills and a communicative personality
