Carpentry Technician M-F

On behalf of one of our clients, a well-established and reputable SME in Geneva specialising in carpentry, joinery, and timber framing, we are seeking a qualified and autonomous Carpentry Technician to support its development.

Your responsibilities

• Design & CAD/CAM:
  • Modelling and producing execution plans in 2D and 3D using specialised software (proficiency in Cadwork is required).
  • Preparing digital files and transferring them to the carpentry machining centre / CNC robot (Hundegger).
• Project management & Site supervision:
  • Organisation, logistical planning, and operational monitoring of construction sites.
  • Financial analysis, cost control, and ensuring the profitability of each project.
  • Supervision, coordination, and leadership of workshop teams and site assemblers.
• Administrative follow-up:
  • Preparation of offers, quotes, and invoicing using the SORBA industry software (internal training provided).

Profile sought

• Education: Holder of a Federal Technician Certificate or an equivalent / higher qualification in the field.
• Technical expertise: Very strong technical skills in traditional and modern carpentry.
• IT skills: Excellent command of IT tools and design software (proficiency in Cadwork is required).
• Leadership & Personal qualities:
  • Proven ability to lead and manage field teams with good interpersonal skills.
  • Team spirit, rigour, methodical approach, and a strong sense of responsibility.
