Do you want to independently manage an IT landscape and work closely with an international corporate IT?
For a successful industrial company, we are looking for an experienced individual as IT Manager / Site IT Manager as part of a planned succession arrangement. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for the local IT at the Swiss site and act as the central interface to the corporate IT at the headquarters.
You can expect a broad technical responsibility with plenty of scope for design – from infrastructure, network and security to support and digitalisation, as well as collaboration with the specialist departments and the production environment. You will work largely independently on site and can actively help shape the further development of the local IT.

Your Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the local IT at the site
- Support, consolidation and further development of IT systems according to corporate guidelines
- Ensuring the availability of infrastructure, network, telephony and workstation systems
- Responsibility for data backup, IT security and compliance requirements
- Coordination between specialist departments, production (OT) and central corporate IT
- Organisation of local support and assistance to users with IT questions
- Evaluation and procurement of hardware and software
- Leadership and participation in local as well as group-wide IT and digitalisation projects
- Documentation, training and support during audits and ISO-relevant topics
Our Requirements
- Technical basic training with further education in the field of computer science (HF, FH or equivalent)
- Several years of experience in the operation and further development of IT infrastructures
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, VMware, Windows and Linux systems
- Good knowledge in the areas of network, telecommunications and IT security
- Experience in building and implementing information security and compliance topics is an advantage
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- High service orientation as well as strong communication skills
- Ability to explain technical topics clearly and engage different stakeholder groups
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
