For Salem Hospital we are looking for a certified nurse with the willingness and interest to work a higher percentage in the winter months (approx. October to March) and to work fewer shifts in the summer months. Your working hours will be planned over the year – this allows us more flexible annual planning depending on patient volume. The workload would average about 40-60% over the year.

YOUR TASKS
- Assuming and carrying out professional care and support of patients in the medical/orthopaedic department according to our nursing care model
- Assessing care situations, appropriate response in acute situations, seamless management of nursing documentation as well as recording all services provided
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with our attending physicians and other departments
- Participation in the daily rounds of the attending physicians to ensure good information flow
- Active involvement in projects and support of the department management as well as the entire team to ensure the best possible quality of care
- Assisting in the supervision of trainees
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed training as a certified nurse
- Several years of professional experience in an acute hospital are an advantage
- Good German language skills and ease of computer use are required
