As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Electronics Engineer until 2029, with high probability of extension.
As a core member of the cross-functional R&D team, the successful candidate will contribute to the concept development, detailed design, and feasibility studies of laboratory instrumentation, focusing on PCB design and hardware integration. Working within a structured development process, the engineer will translate technical requirements into robust electronic designs while carefully considering costs, reliability, applicable standards, and serviceability. The specialist will design functional electronic architectures and ensure all system interfaces are properly defined and integrated. Collaboration with different disciplines (firmware, software, test and mechanical engineering) is required to execute instrument integration tests. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for safety and EMC standard implementation, planning and executing necessary product approvals with certifying bodies. The engineer will author, review, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure full compliance with internal processes and medical device regulations. Collaborating across boundaries, the professional will participate in technical reviews with stakeholders from R&D, Operations, and Customer Support, while also managing technical communication with external suppliers.
The perfect candidate is an electronics engineer with a strong background in PCB design and hardware integration.

Must-Haves
- A degree in a related field, Fachhochschule is a minimum requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hands-on PCB schematic design
- Good social skills to work in a small, interdisciplinary team
- PCB schematic design tools skills
- Fluent in English and German
Nice-to-Haves
- 5-10 years of experience in PCB schematics design and hardware bring-up
- Experience in firmware design
- IT / Tool knowledge: Siemens Xpedition
- Experience in motor control applications and instrument workflows
