To complete the staff of the Information Systems Department, the Municipality of the City of Pully is advertising a position for a 100% IT Security Engineer
Mission:
Management, monitoring, documentation, and resolution of cyber incidents. Participation in projects, development, and operation of protection and IT security systems.
Main activities:
- Contribute to strengthening system configurations and test them through regular audits (servers, workstations, OS, services, network equipment, directories, authentications);
- Carry out activities related to the administration of protection solutions and security systems in accordance with prescriptions and directives. (EDR / NDR / SIEM / IPS / WAF / FW / SEG);
- Perform monitoring and vigilance tasks related to vulnerability management, protection solutions, and security systems;
- Identify risks related to vulnerabilities, develop and implement mitigation plans;
- Participate in maintaining documentation, procedures, and validation protocols for continuity and recovery plans as well as their execution;
- Participate in compliance activities related to legal cybersecurity requirements imposed on the IS department and its partners;
- Participate in and assist with service projects from a security perspective and other aspects depending on skills;
- Draft documentation related to operations.
Desired profile:
- University or HES degree in computer science, cybersecurity, networks and services, or equivalent training and experience;
- Successful experience in a similar position managing a network of more than 100 workstations;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft and Linux (Debian) operating systems;
- Basic knowledge of networks, including VLAN, IP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, TLS, as well as MS Active Directory DS and CS administration;
- Good knowledge in administration and implementation of security systems;
- Experience in administration of CheckPoint, Fortinet, F5 BIP-IP, DarkTrace, SentinelOne, Cisco Catalyst, and ProofPoint solutions is an asset;
- Experience in securing OT systems is an asset;
- Fluency in French and technical English;
- Writing skills and ability to summarise;
- Knowledge of ITIL processes;
- Ability to collaborate as a team member within projects;
- Logical, organised, rigorous, and good analytical skills;
- Sense of responsibility, good stress management, and proactivity;
- Interpersonal skills, patience, and tolerance;
- Team spirit and ability to work independently;
- Motivation and ability to learn.
