Metal Fabricator - Workshop Locksmith (M/F/D)

Your main tasks: within the manufacturing workshop, you will carry out the assembly and fabrication of various metal works (doors, railings, stairs, light structures).

• Reading and interpretation: Independent reading of manufacturing plans and execution diagrams.
• Cutting and preparation: Marking, cutting, drilling and grinding of profiles (steel, aluminium, stainless steel).
• Assembly and welding: Adjusting and assembling parts by tack welding then welding (MIG/MAG and TIG processes).
• Quality control: Checking the conformity of the manufactured parts, compliance with dimensions and finishes.
• First-level maintenance: Maintenance of workshop machines (saws, brakes, drills) and keeping the workstation clean and safe.

• Training: Federal VET Diploma as Metal Fabricator, CAP/BEP/Bac Pro in locksmithing-metalwork or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Proven experience in a metal construction workshop in Switzerland or Europe (10 years in Switzerland).
• Technical skills: Mastery of plan reading and very good command of welding processes (MIG/MAG essential, TIG an asset).
• Personal qualities: Precision, rigour, autonomy and team spirit.
• Driving licence: Driving licence (a plus for travel).
