A true specialist in advanced assembly and complex welding technologies? To support growth and maintain operational excellence for a major industrial player located in the canton of Geneva, we are recruiting an International Welding Engineer - IWE (M/F) at 100%.
Your main responsibilities:
Engineering & Processes: Design, validate and refine assembly methods (TIG, MIG/MAG, SMAW...) according to the technical specifications of the parts.
Standards & Documentation: Develop and approve DMOS/QMOS while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks (ISO 3834, ISO 15614, ASME).
Qualifications & Inspections: Manage welder certification and define the specifications for non-destructive testing (NDT/END).
Technical Assistance: Guide production, the design office and quality from the design phase through to final realisation.
Audits & Improvement: Represent the company during external audits and lead continuous optimisation efforts of manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Your assets for this position:
Degrees: Engineering degree (mechanical, metallurgy or materials) necessarily complemented by the IWE certification (International Welding Engineer).
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven practice in a high-tech industrial sector (energy, piping, railway or steel framework).
Expertise: Perfect mastery of the international regulatory framework and non-destructive testing protocols (NDT).
Qualities: Sharp analytical mind, synthetic vision and interpersonal ease to facilitate the link between the workshop and design offices.
Languages: Fluent French and mastered technical English (knowledge of German is an advantage).
