Production Manager

Under the responsibility of the Management, the Production Manager oversees all manufacturing, assembly and packaging activities of medical devices. He/She ensures compliance with production objectives in terms of volumes, deadlines, costs and quality level, in strict conformity with current standards.

Key responsibilities and tasks

Production management and planning

• Plan manufacturing schedules according to orders and sales forecasts.

• Supervise the production flow, component supply and optimisation of work-in-progress stock.

• Ensure delivery deadlines are met and productivity criteria respected.

Team management and supervision

• Supervise, motivate and develop the skills of the production team (4 people).

• Organise work schedules and ensure the maintenance of a constructive social climate.

• Ensure strict application of hygiene, safety and ergonomics rules at work.

Quality, hygiene and regulatory compliance

• Ensure rigorous application of the quality management system.

• Ensure complete traceability of manufacturing batches and batch records.

• Participate in managing non-conformities, cause analyses and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

Continuous improvement and maintenance

• Propose and deploy continuous improvement approaches to optimise yields and reduce rejects.

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of production tools and equipment.

• Collaborate during the production launch of new products and qualification of new processes/equipment.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of successful production management experience within the medical (MedTech), pharmaceutical or precision microtechnology industry.

Language skills: Fluent French. Excellent command of English. German is a significant asset.
