The St. Katharinental Clinic in Diessenhofen is a company of Spital Thurgau AG with a total of 132 beds. In the historic surroundings of the former monastery, we offer the areas of musculoskeletal, internal, oncological and geriatric rehabilitation, acute rheumatology as well as long-term care. We care for around 1,700 inpatient rehabilitation patients annually and provide an extensive outpatient service. Your tasks
- As an FMG intern, you care for and support our patients in everyday life and assist with nursing. You work in a team with qualified nursing professionals, health specialists (FaGe) and trainees from nursing professions
- Within your area of competence, you perform tasks such as accompanying our patients within the clinic, nursing activities (e.g. assisting with personal care), nursing technical tasks (e.g. blood pressure / pulse checks), daily activities as well as domestic, logistical and administrative tasks
- As an FMG intern, you make an important contribution to promoting or maintaining the health and well-being of patients
What you bring with you
- You enjoy working in a team
- You are reliable and responsible
- You are physically and mentally resilient
- You are interested in the nursing profession and working in nursing
- You have completed the FMS at the specialised middle school
- You have attended a five-week preparatory course
- You are familiar in detail with the present criteria catalogue "nursing skills" for the internship
