GENERAL HOUSEKEEPER - PRIVATE FAMILY (M/F)

Your mission:

• Supervise all household staff and organise schedules.

• Ensure an impeccable level of maintenance and presentation of the residence.

• Daily check the quality of work performed and ensure compliance with established standards.

• Coordinate the different teams and external contractors.

• Ensure the preparation of the residence before the arrival of family members and their guests.

• Supervise service during receptions and private events.

• Manage stocks of linen, cleaning products, consumables and supplies.

• Ensure the care and preservation of linen, furniture, valuables and residence equipment.

• Anticipate the family’s needs and provide a personalised, discreet and impeccable service.

• Train and support staff members to maintain a service level corresponding to the requirements of a high-end private home.

• Be the main contact for the daily organisation of the house. .

Required skills:

• We are looking for an elegant, reliable, discreet, extremely organised professional with an excellent sense of service. The candidate must be able to work with great autonomy, anticipate the family’s needs and constantly maintain an exceptional level of demand.

• Significant experience in a world-renowned palace hotel, notably as a General Housekeeper, is essential.

Your profile:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in luxury hospitality and/or private households.

• Have held the position of General Housekeeper in a palace hotel for several years.

• Excellent knowledge of service and maintenance standards of 5-star establishments and palace hotels.

• Proven experience in managing and supervising household teams.

• Fluent French, both spoken and written.

• Very good level of English, enabling easy communication with the family, guests, colleagues and international service providers.

• Excellent presentation and impeccable interpersonal skills.

• Strong sense of organisation, discretion and confidentiality.

• Great anticipation skills and attention to detail.

• Autonomy, rigour and ability to manage priorities calmly and efficiently.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a demanding private family.

• Verifiable professional references.
