About the job

Operation of the varnishing station on a surface treatment line, in an industrial company in Lavaux. Temporary 3-month full-time assignment, working in 3-shift rotation, immediate start. 3 positions available.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a Vaud-based industrial company specialised in metal surface treatment. They train their operators themselves, station by station, with an internal trainer.

YOUR TASKS

• Prepare the paint and products according to the manufacturing sheets.
• Check the paint reference before each batch.
• Adjust the varnishing tool and fine-tune it during production.
• Monitor the appearance, consistency and colour of the applied film.
• Change and prepare the application rollers.
• Carry out first-level maintenance and keep the area clean and safe.

CONDITIONS

• 3-shift schedule from Monday to Friday: 5:00 to 13:35, 13:30 to 22:05, 22:00 to 5:05. Occasional weekend work depending on workload.
• Temporary 3-month full-time assignment, Aptia mission contract, possibility of permanent employment afterwards.
• On-site training, night shift premium.
• Free parking, protective equipment provided.

YOUR PROFILE

• At least one year of experience in industrial production or a physically demanding and paced job.
• Experience in painting or surface treatment: an advantage.
• Willing to work in 3-shift rotation, including nights.
• Good colour perception, meticulousness.
• Fluent spoken French.
• Driving licence and vehicle, residence less than 30 minutes from the site.
• Forklift or overhead crane licence: an advantage.
