Role:
In this role, as an IT system administration specialist, you take central responsibility for the stable and secure operation of internal IT systems and infrastructure. You work in a modern technological environment with IoT air measurement devices and air purification systems and ensure that the underlying IT platforms function reliably. You are responsible for the continuous support, monitoring, and optimisation of the existing system landscape. Additionally, you actively drive the further development and integration of IT systems across various locations. You support the teams in the technology centre with your expertise and ensure a powerful, future-oriented IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- You manage and administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows Server, network, security, and endpoint systems.
- In this role, you ensure stable IT services for development, production, logistics, sales, and administration.
- As an IT system administration specialist, you actively develop the IT infrastructure in Switzerland and at international locations.
- You take responsibility in IT projects, rollouts, migrations, and technical optimisations and work closely with departments, local IT contacts, and external partners.
- In this role, you analyse complex faults in 2nd- and 3rd-level support and implement sustainable solutions.
- You create and maintain documentation of technical standards for a professional and future-proof IT environment.
Qualifications:
- You have training or further education in computer science as well as several years of practical experience as an IT system engineer.
- You are proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID and have experience with Azure, hybrid environments, and modern identity and security concepts.
- You bring solid know-how in networking, firewall, VPN, WLAN, backup, monitoring, and endpoint management.
- You have a good understanding of IT security, permissions, MFA, conditional access, and system hardening.
- You work independently, responsibly, and solution-oriented and analyse technical problems in a structured way to implement sustainable solutions.
- You are interested in a broad technical environment close to engineering, production, and international business processes and communicate very well in German and well in English.
