Technical Sales Consultant (m/f/d)

For our client, a successful company in the technical industrial sector, we are looking for a customer-oriented and technically skilled individual as a Technical Sales Consultant Internal Sales (m/f/d). In this versatile position, you combine technical understanding with consulting competence and support customers as well as the field sales team in finding suitable solutions. You take on an important interface role between customers, internal departments, and suppliers.

Technical Sales Consultant Internal Sales (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Independent processing and coordination of customer orders
• Preparation and follow-up of quotations including price calculation
• Technical advice and support for customers
• Clarification of technical requirements with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Development of individual and customer-oriented solutions
• Support of the field sales team with technical and administrative queries
• Accompanying customer visits when required
• Processing and coordination of complaints
• Participation in various projects and process optimisations
• Maintenance and updating of customer and master data

Your Profile

• Completed technical basic training with commercial further education
• Professional experience in technical internal sales or a comparable environment
• Industry experience in industry, mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical, food, or technical components sector is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and enjoyment in customer consulting
• Independent, reliable, and structured working style
• Communicative and team-oriented personality
• Business fluent German skills in spoken and written form
• Good English and/or French skills are an advantage
• Good MS Office skills
