Commercial Controller (m/f/d)

Role:
In this position, you are responsible for meaningful analyses and reliable reporting as a basis for the financial management of a production company. You prepare financial statements, support budgeting and forecasts, and ensure the quality of financial data. By analysing production key figures, you derive concrete measures to increase efficiency and work closely with group controlling.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local and group-wide requirements
Conducting cost, results, and variance analyses as well as preparing well-founded decision-making bases
Supporting budget planning and forecast creation considering group guidelines
Targeted preparation of reports and key figures as well as timely submission to group controlling
Ensuring high data quality and consistency in the reporting system IDL
Participation in group-wide planning and reporting processes as well as preparation of special analyses
Analysis of production key figures and derivation of concrete measures to increase efficiency
Support of internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with internal group compliance requirements
Close cooperation with group controlling and other company units
Qualifications:
Completed studies in business administration, finance, or controlling or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in controlling, ideally in the group environment of the manufacturing industry
Sound knowledge of ERP and reporting systems, preferably SAP and BI tools
Experience with accounting according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
Strong analytical skills, high affinity for numbers, and a structured way of working
Strong communication skills, team spirit, and confident appearance towards different stakeholders
Pragmatic, implementation-oriented personality with groundedness, flexibility, and resilience
Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form; knowledge of Italian is an advantage
