Context
The Malévoz Cultural Quarter, located on the site of the Monthey Psychiatric Hospital, is a unique place at the crossroads of culture, art, heritage, and socio-professional integration.
As part of the development of its productive and commercial sector (vegetable garden, processing, marketing, hospitality and catering), we are looking for a professional capable of combining field presence with management responsibilities.
Main missions
MSP role (60%)
- Lead a social integration workshop and support participants in their journey.
- Ensure the activities are appropriate to the needs of the audiences, the institution’s objectives, and the available resources.
- Develop activities, partnerships, and commercial outlets.
Management and administrative role (40%)
- Support the team in designing and implementing projects
- Ensure the operational and administrative management of the sector
- Identify and seek funding sources (grants, sponsorship, dedicated funds)
- Ensure the visibility of the Cultural Garden to the public and partners.
- Take responsibility for service contracts
- Collaborate closely with other sectors of the Cultural Quarter
- Ensure respect for the values, mission, and strategic orientations of the institution.
Professional profile
- Tertiary education in the social or health field or equivalent training with professional experience in these areas.
- MSP training or experience in organising integration workshops
- Strong skills in management, budget preparation and monitoring.
- Proven experience in a team coordination role
- Experience in fundraising (grants, sponsorship) is desirable.
Personal skills
- Good knowledge of the social functioning of the canton of Valais (integration schemes, service contracts, institutional actors).
- Participative leadership
- Ability to mobilise and combine field presence with management responsibilities.
- Interpersonal skills, ease in relationships, writing and communication.
- Sensitivity to mental health, inclusion and reintegration issues.
- Initiative, sense of responsibility, autonomy, flexibility and stress resistance.
Salary conditions
- MSP position class 14 of the Valais Cantonal Administration pay scale
- Management position class 11 or 10 depending on skills profile
