For our client, an established engineering company specialising in infrastructure, civil engineering and water engineering projects, we are looking for a committed individual as a Civil Engineer Water Engineering, Hydraulics and Infrastructure 80-100%.
This position offers different opportunities depending on experience: Experienced professionals take on responsibility in project management. Very good graduates with suitable technical training are carefully developed and gradually introduced to demanding water engineering projects.
We are looking for a person with a solid civil engineering background, interest in hydraulic issues and the ambition to develop sustainable, practical and economically sensible solutions.
- Participation or leadership of projects in the areas of flood protection, watercourse maintenance, rehabilitation, renewal and structural water infrastructure
- Conducting hydraulic calculations and modelling, ideally with HEC-RAS 1D/2D
- Preparation of technical reports, concepts, variant studies and decision-making bases
- Preparation of project documents for studies, preliminary projects, construction projects, tenders and execution phases
- Collaboration with authorities, municipalities, clients, specialist offices and internal experts
- Support with cost estimates, scheduling, tenders and awards
- Coordination of project participants and gradual assumption of client contact
- Contribution to sustainable and standards-compliant solutions in the field of water engineering and infrastructure
- Particularly interesting are profiles with training at ETH or HSLU Horw
- For experienced candidates: experience in project management is mandatory
- For junior profiles: very good technical foundation, suitable field of study and motivation to take on responsibility
- Interest in water engineering, hydraulics, watercourses, urban water management and municipal infrastructure
- Ideally knowledge in hydraulic modelling, especially HEC-RAS 1D/2D
- Good analytical skills and enjoyment of technically demanding issues
- Structured, precise and independent working style
- Team-oriented personality with good communication skills
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
