Automation Technician? PLC & Maintenance of Production Equipment (m/f/d)

Our state-of-the-art production equipment operates around the clock and forms the heart of manufacturing. To ensure smooth operation, experts are needed who understand controls, systematically narrow down faults, and implement solutions directly at the machines. You can expect a varied role with the latest PLC technology such as Siemens S5, S7, TIA Portal and Allen-Bradley.

Your tasks

• Maintenance of production equipment as well as troubleshooting electrical, control and mechanical faults
  
• Analysis, adjustment and optimisation of PLC programmes
  
• Work on machine controls, master computers, drive systems and visualisations
  
• Further development of existing equipment and optimisation of process safety
  
• Updating software and hardware documentation
  
• Close collaboration with the production team and external specialists

Your skills

• Completed training as an automation technician EFZ, technician HF automation, electrical engineer or comparable
  
• Experience with PLC controls in industrial production equipment
  
• Knowledge of HMI/visualisation, drive technology as well as measurement and control technology is an advantage
  
• Broad understanding of electrical, control and mechanical processes
  
• Independent, structured working style and high solution orientation
  
• Very good German skills and willingness to work in a two-shift system
