ICT Support Engineer & Workplace Administrator (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a municipal administration in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The environment offers varied, challenging and responsible tasks in the service of the public with the most modern working and employment conditions.
Role:
Do you want to support users with technical challenges and actively help shape modern IT workplaces? In this role, you combine direct user support with administrative tasks in the workplace environment and make an important contribution to stable IT operations.
You accompany employees with technical concerns, assist with the setup of workplaces and work closely with system engineers on infrastructure projects. Your initiative, analytical thinking and enjoyment of contact with different stakeholders are required.
Responsibilities:
Independent analysis and handling of support cases in first- and second-level support
Ensuring reliable IT support for employees at various locations
Preparation and technical setup of workplaces for new employees
Management and support of Windows end devices, mobile devices and Microsoft 365 services
Maintenance of technical documentation and creation of clear user manuals
Support with system migrations, infrastructure projects and optimisation of internal IT processes
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or a comparable qualification
Practical experience in IT support at first- and second-level
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and Windows client administration
Confident handling of mobile devices and common workplace technologies
Analytical thinking, quick comprehension and a reliable, service-oriented working style
Very good German skills, solid English skills
