Role:
In this role, you take on the overall responsibility for complex infrastructure and civil engineering projects and lead them from project initiation to successful completion. You manage interdisciplinary teams, coordinate all project participants and ensure economical, timely and quality-compliant implementation. With your technical expertise and leadership skills, you make well-founded decisions and ensure sustainable project success.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the planning, control and realisation of demanding engineering and infrastructure projects
Leadership and development of interdisciplinary project teams as well as coordination of all internal and external project stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, quality and safety targets throughout all project phases
Management of contract, risk and change order management and early identification of optimisation potentials
Close collaboration with clients, authorities, specialist planners and contractors for successful project implementation
Strategic planning and control of resource deployment within the projects
Support of construction execution, monitoring project progress and ensuring smooth handover
Conducting technical, economic and organisational coordination with all relevant stakeholders
Support in the further development of project standards and efficient processing procedures
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in leading complex engineering or infrastructure projects
Successful leadership of large projects or extensive construction undertakings with high technical and organisational complexity
Completed studies as a civil engineer or a comparable higher technical qualification
Sound knowledge in project management, construction contract law as well as risk and change order management
Strong leadership skills and experience in leading interdisciplinary project teams
Confident demeanour as well as strong communication and negotiation skills in dealing with diverse stakeholders
Entrepreneurial thinking, high personal responsibility and pronounced decision-making ability
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style with a high quality awareness
Resilience and ability to manage complex projects purposefully and efficiently
Fluent German language skills
