We are looking for a technically skilled and travel-friendly individual as an international service technician for our client.
Our client is an internationally active technology company in mechanical and plant engineering. The high-quality, technically sophisticated systems are used worldwide by customers.
To strengthen the service team, we are seeking a committed person who enjoys travelling, independently solves technical challenges, and takes pleasure in direct customer contact.
Your diverse tasks include:
- Carrying out service and maintenance assignments at customers both domestically and abroad
- Analysing technical faults and independently troubleshooting
- Repairs, overhauls and technical adjustments to existing machines
- Assembly, installation and commissioning of machines and systems
- Conducting preliminary and final acceptance tests
- Support with conversions and modernisations
- Training and instruction of customers and operating personnel
- Technical advice and support for customers on site
- Assistance with processing service requests
- Participation in the planning and implementation of service activities
- Technical support with spare parts enquiries and their clarification
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Completed technical training, for example as a polymechanic, mechatronics technician or in a comparable profession
- Strong mechanical and technical understanding
- Experience in service, maintenance or mechanical engineering is an advantage
- Knowledge of CNC controls is a plus
- Experience with industrial machines and systems is advantageous
- High quality and safety awareness
- Very good English skills, spoken and written
- Additional foreign languages are an advantage
- Interest in technically demanding, CNC-controlled machines
- High willingness to travel and flexibility
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Customer-oriented and professional demeanour
