Head of Municipal Office / Resident Services 80 - 100%
Your tasks
- Professional, organisational and personnel management of the municipal office including budget responsibility and leadership of a team of four employees as well as commercial trainees
- Active participation in the daily business of resident services with multifaceted customer contact
- Register management, KVG control, lost property office, dog affairs, parking permits as well as immigration law matters
- Responsibility for the main cash desk and the information counter
- Maintenance of the website of the municipality of Küsnacht
- Support, training and promotion of commercial trainees in everyday work
- Overall responsibility for the citizenship commission and its secretariat in close cooperation with the civil registry office, especially during deputising
- Further administrative tasks and project collaboration
What you bring with you
- Solid expertise in the field of resident services as well as corresponding further training
- Very good knowledge of the legal foundations including case law
- Recognised qualification as a practical trainer
- Confident and service-oriented manner as well as pronounced leadership competence
- Enjoyment in dealing with people
- Clear communication skills and solid foreign language knowledge (English, ideally French and others)
- Independent, efficient and careful working method
- Team spirit and understanding of internal administrative and political contexts
