For an internationally active company in the automotive supplier industry with several production sites in Europe and Asia, we are looking for a committed individual as a System Engineer (m/f/d). The company employs over 1,000 staff and has established itself as a reliable partner in the automotive industry thanks to state-of-the-art technology and proven production expertise.
Your Tasks
- Participation in the operation and further development of a modern, hybrid IT infrastructure (OnPrem & Azure)
- Operation and optimisation of virtualisation platforms (Proxmox / VMware)
- Participation in the implementation and maintenance of security measures (EDR, User Awareness, Hardening, Incident Handling)
- Automation and standardisation of operation and monitoring via RMM (Ninja) as well as own scripts/workflows
- Operation and lifecycle management of Windows and Linux server landscapes
- Participation in cloud topics around Azure and Microsoft 365
- Participation in IT projects as well as in the evaluation of new technologies
Our Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ or a comparable additional qualification in the IT field with several years of professional experience
- Experience in the areas of servers, network technology and security
- Experience with current technologies (Windows Server, Office 365, Teams, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience in routing, switching, firewalls, VPN and WLAN
- Strong hands-on mentality
- High commitment, teamwork skills and strong communication abilities
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
