Senior Physician

The competence centre for Psychosomatic Medicine in the C.L. Lory House at the Inselspital is one of the largest university clinical psychosomatic departments in Switzerland and is recognised for FMH training in General Internal Medicine (inpatient D, outpatient II). The broad spectrum of illnesses (chronic pain, eating disorders, functional neurological disorders, stress-related illnesses, etc.) of our patients is treated by the multidisciplinary medical team (internists, neurologists, psychiatrists, anaesthetists) either as inpatients (20 beds) or outpatients (polyclinic or day clinic). To strengthen our team, we are looking for a specialist physician.

What to expect

After an introductory phase, you will take over the medical care of patients on the ward, in the day clinic or outpatient clinic, as well as the supervision of assistant doctors in training.

What you bring

• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine and/or Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or Psychosomatics
• Interdisciplinary focus on Psychosocial and Psychosomatic Medicine SAPPM or interest in acquiring this
• Interest in teaching and research
