The Municipality is advertising the position of Operations Assistant in the Public Spaces Sector (80 - 100%)

Main duties:

• Collaborate with the manager on the maintenance, safety and enhancement of communal forest areas, forest leisure infrastructures and land improvement paths to ensure the public has access to natural spaces that are safe and of high quality.
• Carry out mowing, cleaning, repair and restoration work on public property.
• Use and maintain vehicles, machines, tractors, tools and equipment necessary for the work.
• Participate in routine roadworks as well as the organisation of municipal events.
• Provide support to various service sectors as needed.
• Take part in exceptional interventions, emergency situations and the winter on-call service.

Your profile:

Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an operations agent, landscaper or equivalent training.

Driving licence category B (mandatory), BE licence (desired), C1 licence (advantage), M1/M2 machine operator licence (advantage), forklift licence (advantage), cherry picker licence (advantage).

Good proficiency in handling machines, tractors and specialised equipment.

Knowledge of MSST guidelines and safety regulations. Public service orientation. Sense of responsibility and autonomy.
