Role:
On behalf of the client, we are seeking an experienced professional as Project Manager Building Services HVACSE for the technical coordination of a demanding large-scale project in Central Switzerland. You will be responsible for the interplay of the trades heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary and electrical and will accompany the building services from execution planning through realisation to commissioning and acceptance. The focus is on HVACSE coordination, interface management, cost and schedule control, as well as quality assurance in close collaboration with specialist planners and executing companies. The position offers a technically complex project environment with high responsibility within a professional GC/TC environment.
Responsibilities:
Overall coordination of the HVACSE trades within a technically demanding large-scale project across the relevant planning and realisation phases
Leadership and coordination of specialist planners, site managers, contractors and building services specialists
Control and monitoring of costs, schedules, quality and occupational safety within building services
Technical review and optimisation of execution, workshop and detailed planning of the individual HVACSE trades
Coordination of complex interfaces between heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary, electrical, building automation and structural engineering
Conducting and documenting HVACSE, planning and coordination meetings as well as consistent follow-up of technical pending issues
Participation in tendering, submissions, awards and contracts for building services
Review and assessment of change orders, contractor services and technical changes during realisation
Ensuring execution in accordance with SIA standards, technical specifications, contracts and Swiss regulations
Coordination of commissioning planning as well as support of functional tests, integral tests and official inspections
Organisation and execution of acceptances and defect management as well as ensuring complete technical documentation
Participation in the optimisation and digitalisation of construction, coordination and commissioning processes
Qualifications:
Technical basic training in the field of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary, electrical or building automation with appropriate further education
Further education as HF technician building services, FH building services engineer or comparable qualification is an advantage
Several years of experience as project manager, site manager or HVACSE specialist in demanding building construction projects
Sound knowledge in HVACSE coordination and technical interface management
Experience in execution planning, tendering, awarding, cost and schedule control of building services projects
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building services regulations
Experience with commissioning, functional tests and acceptances of complex building services systems
