Your Tasks
- You will take on the professional and organisational leadership of the Adolescent Medicine department and actively shape its further development, assuming leadership responsibility as part of the senior medical team in general paediatrics.
- The main medical responsibility for the inpatient and outpatient treatment of adolescents with psychosomatic disorders, eating disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, and other complex clinical pictures lies within your remit.
- In close collaboration with child and adolescent psychiatry as well as psychology, you will advise and care for patients on a consultative basis in various specialist departments.
- With your expertise, you will develop and establish innovative treatment concepts and sustainably influence the further development of adolescent medicine.
- Furthermore, you will engage with enthusiasm in the training, continuing education, and professional development of doctors as well as in interprofessional knowledge transfer.
Your Profile
- FMH in Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, general paediatric expertise
- Specialist title or equivalent in psychosomatic and psychosocial medicine desired
- Proven clinical experience in outpatient and inpatient psychosomatics for adolescents
- Communication skills in dealing with adolescents, their parents/families, and the treatment team
- High team competence, enjoyment, and appreciative sensitivity for interprofessional collaboration
- Cooperative leadership style, willingness to take responsibility, ability for strategic-conceptual project work
