Group Accountant Industry (m/f/d)

In this role, as a Senior Accountant, you will take on a versatile and responsible range of tasks in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
You independently manage the accounting of the corporate group in accordance with legal, group-wide, and internal requirements
You are responsible for accounts payable and receivable accounting, including payment runs and payment transactions
You independently carry out monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
You prepare and reconcile VAT returns and act as the contact person in the area of value-added tax
You manage fixed asset accounting and prepare financial data for budget and forecast processes as well as for liquidity planning
You bear the professional responsibility for the FI module and contribute to the further development of the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) as well as the internal control system (ICS)
You represent the Head of Finance, e.g., during the monthly closing of the Swiss subsidiary
Qualifications:
You have a commercial basic education with further training in finance and accounting (e.g., federal specialist certificate), ideally complemented by an MAS in Finance & Accounting
You bring 5-8 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
You have very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
You have experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (FI module)
You communicate very well in English, both spoken and written
